More than 13,000 people have used the Nagarik app to file police reports. Thirteen thousand seven hundred and thirty-nine people have obtained their police report, also known as a police character certificate, through the Nagarik app.
According to the Nagarik app, they downloaded the police report by using the app as well. To obtain a police report through the Nagarik app, you must first create an account. An account can be opened in the Nagarik app by keeping the mobile number registered in one's name and selecting one of the options of citizenship, passport, or voter identity card and its details.
Now, launch the Nagarik app and select the option to submit a police clearance report. Keep in mind that your citizenship must be linked to the Nagarik app. Likewise, if you're preparing a police report for a visa, the passport should be linked as well.
After selecting that option, select Request Report. And, if you will be filling in some of your information yourself, fill in the remaining information and click on Procedure. Your information will then be submitted, and once verified, the police report will be available for download from the Nagarik app.
