The welfare services related to foreign employment are now available online. The Foreign Employment Information Management System (FEIMS) working procedure 2078 BS has been approved by Chairman of the Foreign Employment Board and Minister for Labor, Employment, and Social Security Krishna Kumar Shrestha.
In addition, rescue, relief, compensation, and other welfare services for Nepali workers who have gone abroad to work will now be available online. The board has created software that will allow it to provide professional welfare services over the internet. As a result, the Foreign Enforcement Board Secretariat directs financial assistance to the nearest beneficiary's bank account at the local level.
A Foreign Employment Welfare Information System Steering Committee with representatives from ministries, departments, insurance committees, and banks has also been formed, with the Executive Director of the Foreign Employment Board Secretariat serving as the coordinator. The Board has been providing financial assistance in the event of death, mutilation, or illness while working abroad.
It also provides educational scholarships to the children of deceased employees. The obligation to visit the service recipient's office will be removed after the board arranges for the families of those who have died or been maimed in foreign employment to apply for relief from the local level and deposit the money in the service recipient's bank account.
