Twitter Now Allows You to Listen to Spaces Without an Account

Twitter Spaces is gaining a new feature that allows anybody to listen to Spaces audio directly from their browser. Users may now share direct links to their Spaces with others, and invitees can listen to the audio session through the Web without having to register in to the platform. People without Twitter accounts may now listen to Spaces audio thanks to the latest update.

They will, however, be unable to take part in the audio broadcast. More users will be able to use Twitter Spaces as a result of the new feature. Spaces has added the ability to hold a live audio session to all Android and iOS users. The Spaces team announced the latest update on Friday, November 5. As previously announced, the new functionality allows listeners and hosts to share a direct link to a Spaces audio broadcast with a larger audience.

People who do not have a Twitter account can listen to it on the Web version of the site without logging in. The microblogging platform has been enhancing Spaces with new features that compete with Clubhouse and Facebook's Live Audio Rooms. On iOS and Android, Spaces just released the option for anybody to establish their own chat room. When Twitter first launched Spaces in late 2020, only individuals with more than 600 followers on the network were eligible to host them. On Twitter, anyone, regardless of how many followers they have, may now create public and private audio chat rooms.

Spaces may also host up to 11 speakers at once. Hosts will get access to the full-length Recording for 30 days after the Space concludes, at which time they can share or tweet it. Listeners will be able to listen back any recorded Space from their timeline, as well as share recorded Spaces with their networks. Hosts can remove a Spaces Recording at any time, but Twitter will preserve a data file of it for 30-120 days to check for abusive or offensive speech.
