PrabhuPay kiosk machine installed in seven traffic offices, traffic fines can be paid now with no hassle

Traffic fines for breaking traffic rules now can be paid at one of seven traffic offices throughout the Kathmandu Valley using the PrabhuPay kiosk machine. Previously, this arrangement was only applied to the Metropolitan Traffic Police Division, but it has now been extended its services to Gaushala, Koteshwor, Gatthaghar, Thapathali, Maligaun and Durbar Marg since Sunday.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Umesh Raj Joshi and Chairperson of Prabhu Management Pvt. Ltd, Kusum Lama, jointly cut the ribbon and inaugurated the PrabhuPay kiosk machine at a function held at the Metropolitan Traffic Police Complex in Satdobato. Following the inauguration, all seven traffic office services were launched.

According to SSP Joshi, the new technology has been expanded to seven offices in collaboration with Prabhu Bank, with the goal of making it easier and simpler for vehicle users to get their documents back without having to pay a fine for breaking traffic rules. He also stated that because the fine can be paid by depositing cash directly into the kiosk machine, it saves time by eliminating the need to queue at the bank. The service has already been implemented by the traffic police department.
