Moto Edge 30 Pro tipped prior to its launch, could be the cheapest smartphone with Snapdragon 8 Gen

The Moto Edge 30 Pro, the company's rumored forthcoming flagship smartphone, is expected to be released shortly. Pricing and features for the Moto Edge 30 Pro have leaked online ahead of the February 24 launch event planned by Motorola for an unidentified new smartphone.

The phone is claimed to be a rebranded version of the Moto Edge X30, which was released in China in December 2021 and is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. According to a source, the Moto Edge 30 Pro may be the cheapest smartphone to include the top processor.

Specifications (Expected):

Previous rumors suggest that the Moto Edge 30 Pro will be a renamed version of the Moto Edge X30. The Moto Edge 30 Pro might run Android 12 with the MyUX skin from Motorola on top. It is believed to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM.

Following the recent announcement of the Galaxy S22 series handsets, it might be the second smartphone to use the newest Snapdragon flagship chipset. The Moto Edge 30 Pro is expected to include a 6.7-inch full-HD+ OLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz and HDR+ content compatibility.

The Moto Edge 30 Pro has a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The smartphone is also expected to have a front-facing selfie camera with a resolution of 60 megapixels.

The Moto Edge 30 Pro is claimed to include a 5,000mAh battery with 68W rapid charging through USB Type-C compatibility. As previously said, Motorola has yet to officially unveil the specifications and features of the new Moto Edge 30 Pro smartphone.
