The Nuwakot District Administration Office will register national identity cards for the needy citizens as soon as possible. The electronic passport has been made mandatory, replacing the current machine-readable passport MRP, and the name must be registered in the national identity card. As a result, the number of people seeking services to obtain a national identity card is increasing across the country, including in Nuwakot, according to Saprajya Aryal of Nuwakot.
