MSI: A 14-inch convertible joins MSI’s business laptop lineup

The Summit Series, MSI's series of high-end business laptops, has received a number of improvements. Summit E14 Evo, Summit E13 Flip Evo, Summit E16 Flip Evo, and Summit E16 Flip Evo are all versions of the Summit E14 Evo (which is similar to the Filp Evo with a higher-resolution screen and discrete GPU options). There's also a brand-new Summit E14 Flip Evo, which is a convertible version of the Summit E14 Evo (meaning its screen can fold backwards into a tablet shape). Surprisingly, the 15-inch Summit E15 appears to have remained unchanged.

People who require a bigger screen than the 13.4-inch E13 Flip Evo but don't want to upgrade to a 16-inch device might consider the Summit E14 Flip. It also has a higher-resolution display than the 13-inch convertible, with a maximum resolution of 2880 x 1800 against 1920 x 1200 on the smaller model (as well as the clamshell E14). Aside from the screen resolution, the E14 Flip looks to be identical to the clamshell E14 in terms of configuration choices, size, and port possibilities. Tobii Aware, an eye-tracking technology that locks or blurs a device's screen if its owner is not nearby, is included with the new Summit models.

This type of software has grown more prevalent on high-end business laptops in recent years, and it can provide users who work with sensitive data some piece of mind. "Users and companies want computers that work hard to keep their data safe while simultaneously improving their health and productivity. In a statement, Ulrica Wikström, Tobii's VP of PC, stated, "This is exactly what Tobii Aware provides when partnered with MSI's new line of laptops."

The new laptops may be purchased right now. Models of the E14 Flip Evo start at $1,499, while models of the E14 Evo start at $1,249. The E13 Flip Evo costs $1,299. The E16 and E16 Flip Evo cost $1,899 and $1,549, respectively. The Summit E Series, which competes with premium machines such as Dell's XPS series, is best recognized for cramming a lot of power into a small package. While the build quality isn't quite up to par with top business competitors (such as Apple's MacBook Pro or Lenovo's ThinkPads), the designs are elegant and professional, with long-lasting finishes.
