The Poco F4 GT has finally arrived on the international market after weeks of leaks and teasers. This is the company's year-end flagship phone. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor.
Poco's new phone is a follow-up to the F3 GT, which was the company's most anticipated phone last year, and the F4 GT has high expectations.
It's a rebranded Redmi K50 Gaming Edition that can only be purchased in China. The Poco F4 GT, on the other hand, is brand new for customers outside of mainland China.
Specifications:
The Poco F4 GT is a flagship phone, but it makes a few concessions in order to compete with the big dogs. Essentially, this phone is designed for gamers, who will be unconcerned about the lack of certain features. Aside from that, the Poco F4 GT appears to be a good phone — at least on paper.
It has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Because it's a gaming phone, it has two larger liquid cooling areas on the inside to keep things cool.
Gaming depletes battery life, but Poco claims that the Poco F4 GT's 120W fast-charging technology will provide a full charge in around 17 minutes.
Poco has also included an L-shaped cable with the phone to make it easier to handle while charging. Pop-up triggers on the phone's edge are among the other hardware improvements.
The Poco F4 GT also has a number of software tweaks to improve the gaming experience. According to the company, these features are also useful for everyday tasks. The Poco F4 GT has a 6.67-inch flat display with a FullHD resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, which is powered by an AMOLED panel. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus is used to protect the screen.
A 4700mAh battery with fast-charging support is housed inside the Poco F4 GT. On the back, there are three cameras: a 64-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The Poco F4 GT has a 20-megapixel selfie camera built into the punch-hole design.
The Poco F4 GT also comes with symmetrical quad speakers and a triple mic setup for a better gaming experience. MIUI 13 is based on Android 12 and runs on the phone.
Pricing (Roughly) in Nepal:
The 8GB+128GB variant of the Poco F4 GT costs EUR 599 (roughly Rs 78,489), while the variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of memory costs EUR 699 (roughly Rs 91,593).
The base variant costs EUR 499 (roughly Rs 65,386), while the higher version costs EUR 599. With the Apex design on the back, the Poco F4 GT is available in Stealth Black, Cyber Yellow, and Knight Silver.
