The Google Play system upgrades for May have been announced, and one of the new features is self-sharing in the Nearby Share function, as well as a, revamp of the Google Help app. The Android operating system, Google Play store, and Google Play Services have all received upgrades from Google. According to the article, users would be able to transfer files, links, and text from one of their own devices to another without having to authorize each content they send. The self-share option in Nearby Share was originally seen in January, and it was initially spotted in development last month. Users will need to upgrade to Google Play Services version 22.15 and the Play Store version 30.3 on their Android devices to receive these new features and enhancements.
Both of these versions were released on May 2nd. If an update is available, customers can also go straight to Google Play to update Google Play Services. Meanwhile, you may check for Google Play system updates in the Settings app, under about phone > Android version > Google Play system update on the phone. The Google Help app has also been redesigned as part of the new Google Play system upgrade.
