In the meanwhile, the messaging service is working on a new area that will allow users to read messages that they have chosen to "keep" from disappearing from conversations – another feature that is presently in development.
WhatsApp amended its Commerce Policy last year, telling companies who provide products and services for sale that they must adhere to the policy.
A feature tracker, WhatsApp is working on a warning banner for WhatsApp Business accounts that have broken the company's Commerce Policy as per WABetaInfo. The capability was discovered only days after the messaging service announced that all businesses and developers would have access to its cloud-based API. "WhatsApp access is at danger," the warning states, followed by "Start following policies to keep using WhatsApp." The ad might be given to companies in the future as a warning before their account is blocked, according to the tracker.
