The Startup & Idea Fest 2022 jointly organized by Living with ICT and ICT Foundation Nepal has been concluded with a resounding success in Bagmati Province today on the 30 th of May, 2022. More than 35 startups took part in the fest held in Chitwan midtown resort. The fest which started on the 1 st of April, 2022 have been concluded today. Also, the fest had been successfully concluded earlier in Gandaki Province, Lumbini Province, Madhesh Province, Province 1, Sudurpaschim Province, and Karnali Province.
Likewise, 25 startups and innovators presented their businesses and ideas during Idea Pitching, Mentoring, and Experience Sharing sessions at the fest which started from 12 PM onwards today. Aside from that, there were more than 5000 visitors at the fest. Seven companies; e-Med, Karmadata, No Hassle Traveler, Nepal Steam Alliance Pvt. Ltd., Academy of Medical and Engineering Sciences, UbuntuDDE, and Knowledge Exchange were chosen for incubation and mentoring. Knowledge Exchange Pvt Ltd. was recognized as the best startup among them.
The company will be recognized in ICT AWARD 2022 as per the organizers. In addition, a panel discussion will be organized in the Digital Bagmati Samvad Session between the private and public sector stakeholders of Bagmati province tomorrow (31 st of May, 2022) at Hetauda in Hotel Avocado. The Samvad Session will start from 12:30 PM onwards as per the organizers.
A wide-ranging discussion will take place about the state of digitization in the Bagmati Province and the policies and action plans that will be implemented in the coming days. The Digital Samvad Session aims to highlight digital transformation efforts and practices in order to advance the Digital Nepal agenda.
