Digital Bagmati Samvad Session jointly organized by Living with ICT and ICT Foundation Nepal will be held at Hetauda in Hotel Avocado of Bagmati Province today (31 st of May, 2022). The program, which is being organized across all 7 provinces of the country, has already been completed in the Gandaki Province, Lumbini Province, Madhesh Province, Province 1, Sudurpaschim Province, and Karnali Province.
The Samvad Session will start from 12:30 PM onwards as per the organizers. A wide-ranging panel discussion will take place about the state of digitization in the Bagmati Province and the policies and action plans that will be implemented in the coming days. In addition, the discussion will be organized between the private and public sector stakeholders of Bagmati province. The Digital Samvad Session aims to highlight digital transformation efforts and practices in order to advance the Digital Nepal agenda.
Digital Samvad is a discourse that began during the first nationwide shutdown following the outbreak of COVID-19 in Nepal, with the goal of hosting an open round-table discussion. The goal of Digital Samvad is to spark debate and learn from the experiences of important resource people and topic experts. The Digital Nepal Team meets with key stakeholders for discussion and interaction in order to get insights and recognize the most important steps forward in order to "transform the sparks into a meaningful potential for expanding Nepal's digital ecosystem."
