Instagram Reels are entertaining to watch and much more so when shared with friends, family, and loved ones. However, there may be situations when you wish to store some Reels offline. This may be for later viewing when you're not connected to the internet, combining numerous reels into a single compilation video, or anything similar.
If you have an Android phone, you may use a video downloading program to connect into your Instagram account and download the Reels you want as MP4 films to your phone.
Once you've found a Reel you wish to download, copy its link/URL. This is accomplished by tapping the three-dot menu on any Reel video. This option may be found in the bottom right corner. When you tap it, other options will appear. Select 'Copy link'. Go to any known working online reel-downloading website and seek for a place where you can paste your copied link/URL.
These applications, however, may not be suitable for everyone because they need you to disclose your login and password with a third party, which Instagram (or any other site) would not want you to do.
After pasting your copied URL, click the download button on the side to receive a small sample of the Reel along with the account that submitted it. Tap the 'Download mp4' button below the preview to begin the download. The downloaded clip may then be accessed using your gallery app or your phone's file manager. If you wish to share this file with someone else, it should appear in the media selection of other platforms such as WhatsApp or Twitter.
