HMD Global, the Nokia brand licensee, unveiled the Nokia G50 on Wednesday as the newest cheap 5G phone. The latest Nokia phone has a waterdrop-style display and triple cameras on the back. The Nokia G50 has 64GB of internal storage and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 octa-core processor.

The Nokia G50 is currently only available in the United Kingdom. However, it is expected to become accessible in additional markets in the future. The phone will be displayed alongside the Nokia G10 and Nokia G20, which are the company's low-cost 4G phones in the Nokia G line.

Specifications:

The Nokia G50 runs Android 11 and has a 6.82-inch HD+ display with a max brightness of 450 nits. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC is paired with 4GB of RAM to run the phone.

The Nokia G50 features a triple back camera system with a 48-megapixel main sensor, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.The Nokia G50 has an 8-megapixel selfie camera sensor on the front for selfies and video chats.

The Nokia G50 comes with 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded with a microSD card (up to 512GB). 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C connector are among the connectivity possibilities. An accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor are among the sensors on board. The phone also has a fingerprint sensor on the side.

Pricing:

The Nokia G50 is priced at GBP 199.99 (approximately Rs. 32,316) for the single 4GB RAM + 64GB onboard storage configuration. The phone is available in two colors: Midnight Sun and Ocean Blue, and it may be purchased in the United Kingdom. Details about the Nokia G50's debut in places such as India have yet to be revealed.
