The Xiaomi Watch Color 2 will be released in China on September 27 alongside the Xiaomi Civi smartphone, according to the company's website.
The new wristwatch will be a follow-up to Xiaomi's Mi Watch Color, which was released in December of this year. Xiaomi Watch Color 2 is expected to have a circular display, just like its predecessor. There will be a variety of watch faces and sports modes available on the smartwatch.
It will also come with a variety of wrist bands in various colors. Xiaomi announced the debut date of Xiaomi Watch Color 2 with a teaser image on Weibo. The smartwatch will be unveiled with the Xiaomi Civi wristwatch and Xiaomi TWS 3 Pro earphones during an event on September 27 at 2 p.m. CST Asia (11:30 a.m. IST). Xiaomi Watch Color 2 is also shown with two other color choices in the teaser.
According to the picture, the wristwatch will keep the circular display style of the original Mi Watch Color. Xiaomi Watch Color 2 will also support over 200 watch faces and come with six different wrist strap color options, according to the company. The smartwatch, on the other hand, is said to feature 117 sports modes. Other facts about the Xiaomi Watch Color 2 are yet unknown.
Xiaomi released the Mi Watch Color in 2019, which has functions such as heart rate tracking and sleep analysis. It was released in China with a CNY 799 price tag and six wrist strap choices, as well as a luxury alligator skin leather variant.
A 1.39-inch AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top and a 420mAh battery are among the features of the Mi Watch Color (Mi Watch Revolve). It's also compatible with both Android and iOS devices and supports Bluetooth v5 BLE.
