According to recent reports, the Realme GT Neo 2T is in the works and may be released shortly. On Friday, Realme CMO Xu Qi Chase teased that a new phone in the Realme GT Neo 2 series will be released shortly, adding that it would have a fresh design. Soon after the formal announcement, a famous tipster stated that the Realme GT Neo 2T was the smartphone with model number RMX3357 that had been found on TENAA last month, and referred to a fresh MIIT listing of the same phone, along with some information of differences from the previous edition.
Realme CMO Xu Qi Chase used the Chinese microblogging network Weibo to tease the arrival of a new Realme GT Neo 2 series device, as previously reported. He teases that it will be powered by a new flagship processor. Meanwhile, two well-known tipsters have published the details of the forthcoming phone on social media sites, saying it would be called the Realme GT Neo 2T. On Weibo, Digital Chat Station said that a Realme smartphone with the model number RMX3357 had gained CMIIT certification and would be known as the Realme GT Neo 2T.
Another Twitter tipster, claimed that the Realme GT Neo 2T smartphone had appeared on the MIIT certification site, citing another Digital Chat Station post that claimed it would have mostly the same specs as the previous generation Realme GT Neo 2, including a center hole-punch camera and a 120Hz refresh rate display. The tipster says, however, that it will have a new back panel design and will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC.
Last month, the RMX3357 smartphone, which is believed to be the Realme GT Neo 2T, was found in a TENAA filing, which listed a few features. A 6.43-inch full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) AMOLED display is one of them. The phone looks to have a hole-punch display and is running Android 11. The Realme GT Neo 2T smartphone will be available in two RAM and storage combinations, according to the listing: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage.
A triple camera arrangement with a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor is stated on the back of the phone. It will include a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. The Realme GT Neo 2T will have a 4400mAhmAh battery, according to the TENAA listing.
