Dulwa Expeditions Private Limited, established on 10th September, 2019 is a Social Travel Enterprise and a digital platform (under construction) that provides a marketplace for travel agencies and activities operators to sell their packages to the international market uplifting the Digital Presence of Nepal’s Tourism Industry.
Its main objective is to promote Nepal’s nature, communities, cultures & cuisines. Dulwa.com aims to act as a Capacity Building Company and become the “One Stop Solution” for travel solutions in Nepal by 2025. The company focuses on Sustainable Tourism practices and advocates on SDG 8.9 by conducting various tourism related researches, local job training related to tourism, etc. The startup dulwa.com is the winner of Youth Co: Lab 3.0 and 4th National Social Business Challenge as the most innovative, scalable, and sustainable business.
Dulwa however is trying to step in and upgrade the local status of the people and create tourism related jobs so that the youths will be motivated to stay back in Nepal. Along with founder Nipun Shakya, Dulwa has a total of 6 members working together in a company to achieve the company’s goal.
