Amazon will now let you easily share clips from its Prime Video content

Amazon is launching a new tool that will allow users to share video clips from their favorite shows and movies with their friends on Prime Video. Users will be able to share Prime Video content video segments of up to 30 seconds on social media networks or via direct messages using the new capability. Only a few movies and series, such as The Boys, The Wilds, and Invincible Episode One, are available.

According to Amazon, the new functionality will be followed by other titles. The interactive clip-sharing tool is presently only available to iPhone and iPad users in the United States. Amazon issued an official statement on Thursday announcing the arrival of the clip-sharing tool. In the beginning, Amazon Prime's video-sharing capability will only be available on iOS devices in the United States.

You may produce a 30-second video clip of what you're viewing when watching a title on the Prime Video app on your iOS device, including iPhone and iPad models, by tapping the Share a clip button while watching a title on the Prime Video app. The software will then pause the broadcast in order to access the footage, which you may modify and share. After you've made a clip, you'll be able to fine-tune it by moving it forward or backward. It is also possible to preview it before sharing it.

You may then share the video on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Apple's iMessage, Messenger, and WhatsApp by pressing the Share icon. The functionality will be accessible for The Boys (Season One), The Wilds, Invincible, and Fairfax, according to Amazon, but additional Amazon Original movies and episodes will be added later. Amazon's latest program, which allows customers to share its material as videos, is a first in the streaming industry. Netflix and Disney+, Amazon's main competitors in the industry, do not allow customers to take screenshots of their material.
