Battlegrounds Mobile, a Krafton-published online multiplayer game, has earned the 'Best Game' award at Google Play's Best of 2021. The top applications and games on their platform from across the world are included in their end-of-year celebration.
"This award recognizes BGMI's dedication to providing gamers with an engaging, pleasant, and diversified gaming experience. We accept this award on behalf of our players, and we thank them for their unwavering passion and unwavering support," said Wooyol Lim, Krafton's Head of BGMI. The battle royale game won the 'Best Competitive' category, beating out freshly launched titles like Pokemon Unite and Marvel's Future Revolution.
"Since the introduction of BGMI, we've received fantastic feedback from our fans, and that's the foundation on which we're constructing centric events and programming." Battlegrounds Mobile is a new edition by Krafton. With over 40 million downloads in the first month and 16 million daily active players, the game had a massive start. Professional players in the field will now compete in the esports medal category at the 2022 Asian Games.
Krafton has also published a special PUBG Mobile Asian Games edition to facilitate participation by gamers. BGMI just released version 1.7, which added new in-game events, characters, and goods based on the new Netflix anime Arcane. The patch notes also included a new Piggyback function, which allows players to carry downed colleagues.
