In China, the iQoo U5 smartphone was quietly debuted. It is a smartphone from the Vivo sub-U-series. brand's The Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC powers the 5G-enabled phone, which has a full-HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is the successor to the iQoo U3 smartphone, which was released in December of last year. The announcement comes only hours after iQoo Neo 5S and iQoo Neo 5 SE were released in the nation.

The iQoo U5 runs iQOO UI 1.0, which is based on Android 11, and has a 6.58-inch full-HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC is powering the phone, which can be combined with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The iQoo U5 has a dual back camera arrangement with a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel macro shooter for shooting. An 8-megapixel camera for video calls and selfies is housed in the display's waterdrop notch. The iQoo U5 is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W rapid charging. The phone has a USB Type-C connector as well as a fingerprint sensor on the power button for connectivity.
Availability:
According to JD.com, the iQoo U5 is available in 4GB RAM + 128GB storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage configurations. The handset's pricing has yet to be announced by iQoo, however it will be available for pre-order on JD.com and the Vivo online shop in China on December 24. Customers will be able to pick between three colors: Dark Black, Magic Blue, and Silver White. Soon after the original pre-order teaser provided a few features, the listing with all specifications became available.
