Lenovo unveiled the rear design of the Legion Y90, the company's forthcoming gaming smartphone, on Friday. The device has been teased by the firm on its Weibo account for the previous several weeks, offering fans a glimpse of what the phone would look like. The next Lenovo Legion Y90 will have a big 6.92-inch E4 AMOLED display, according to the manufacturer. The launch date for Lenovo's next Legion Y90 smartphone has yet to be announced.
Lenovo showed off the design of the next Lenovo Legion Y90 smartphone in a teaser video shared on Weibo. The video shows the smartphone's back side from various angles, and the design appears to be similar to Lenovo's Legion Phone Duel 2, which was released in 2021. For enhanced ergonomics, the Lenovo Legion Y90 has a dual-camera configuration in the center of the phone. The next Lenovo Legion Y90 might include an RGB light in the style of the company's Legion emblem, similar to the previous Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2.
In the video, Lenovo only shows the front of the phone for a few seconds, and it looks like the phone will have a flat display. The Lenovo Legion Y90 looks to have a thin top bezel with a speaker grille and a selfie camera in the top right corner. Lenovo has not yet published the physical details for the Lenovo Legion Y90, including the CPU that will power the smartphone. According to Lenovo, the Legion Y90 will include a huge 6.92-inch E4 AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz and a touch sampling rate of 720Hz.
Lenovo is also preparing to debut its Legion Y700 gaming tablet, which it teased on its Weibo account. According to the manufacturer, the tablet will have a 21:10 Ultra-Wide Viewing Mode. In games like Honor of Kings and League of Legends, where greater screen real estate is useful, the tablet's screen has been engineered to show more material. The Lenovo Legion Y700 is expected to come with a Snapdragon 870 SoC and an 8.8-inch Quad-HD (2,560x1,600 pixels) display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate.
