The OnePlus 10R is expected to debut in China in Q2 2022, powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC. The phone is expected to appear in worldwide markets in March, after the company's OnePlus 10 Pro smartphone, which was released in China. The smartphone is also expected to debut on Oppo's forthcoming Find X5 smartphone.
According to Android Central, the OnePlus 10R will be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, at least 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. According to the report, OnePlus' next smartphone will be released in the second quarter of 2022. The OnePlus 10R will have a 120Hz refresh rate AMOLED display. Like earlier OnePlus R-series smartphones like the OnePlus 9R and OnePlus 9RT, the smartphone is expected to be confined to Asian countries.
The OnePlus 10 will not include a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC under the hood because it will be released in North America as per the report. The MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC has a comparable core design to Qualcomm's newest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and supports Sub-6 5G bands, but not mmWave 5G like the Snapdragon counterpart. According to reports, the smartphone will make its debut in China and India at the end of Q2 2022.
