WhatsApp adds now support for Common Services Centre (CSC) Helpdesk

The Common Services Center (CSC) has created the 'CSC Health Services Helpdesk,' a new dedicated WhatsApp hotline. The digital teleconsultation system will provide an uniform helpdesk platform for numerous services to persons living in rural and distant areas of the country. Users may obtain help from administration, consult doctors virtually, access a variety of Covid-related materials, and get their other questions answered.

The CSC Health Services Helpdesk on WhatsApp will be available in English and will be free to use. Infobip Technologies has created the CSC Health Services Helpline. "We are dedicated to ensuring that rural residents have the best possible access to healthcare and infrastructure."

Telehealth consultations from CSC have aided in the provision of basic healthcare services at the grassroots level. "We are convinced that extending this to WhatsApp will be our next lever in ensuring that primary healthcare services are accessible to our country's most distant populations," said CSC e-Governance Services Limited CEO.

In other developments, WhatsApp just announced a partnership with Uber, which will allow users to hire a car directly from the messaging network. The functionality is based on the WhatsApp Business platform and will be available in a few locations soon. Customers will be able to complete all of their transactions using the WhatsApp chatbot, from registration to booking a cab to receiving a travel receipt.
