The Huawei Nova line of smartphones will be available worldwide on October 21, according to the Chinese company's official Romanian website. The firm had announced a debut event in Vienna, Austria, and at the time, what was being introduced was not known. At this point, the date has been finalized for the Nova series. According to rumors, Huawei will reveal the Huawei Nova 9, Huawei Nova 9 Pro, and a few more devices that it has released in various regions over the last several months. The Huawei Nova 9 and Huawei 9 Pro appear to be the smartphones on the Huawei Romania official website's banner.
There's a quad-camera arrangement on the back, which looks similar to the back camera module on these smartphones, which were released in China in September. It's also possible that the firm may release additional smartphones, such as the Huawei Nova 8i, which debuted in Malaysia earlier this year, and the Huawei Nova 8 SE Vitality Edition, which debuted in China in July.
The Huawei Nova 9 and Nova 9 Pro dual-SIM (Nano) smartphones run on HarmonyOS 2, an Android Open Source Project-based operating system (AOSP). The Huawei Nova 9 has a curved edged 6.57-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,340 pixels) OLED display. The pro model comes with a 6.72-inch full-HD+ (1,236x2,676) OLED display. Both handsets include a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of up to 300Hz, as well as a P3 broad color gamut. Both versions are equipped with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC and 8GB of RAM.
The Huawei Nova 9 and Nova 9 Pro both include a quad-camera system with a 50-megapixel main sensor and an f/1.9 lens, as well as an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. A 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro shooter are also included in the back camera system, along with an LED light. Both phones have a fingerprint sensor built into the display. The Huawei 9 Pro has a 4,000mAh battery with 100W Super Fast Charge, while the Huawei Nova 9 has a 4,300mAh battery with 66W Super Fast Charge.
