Lenovo has unveiled the ThinkPad Z13 and ThinkPad Z16 laptop models ahead of CES 2022, which begins on January 5. The new ThinkPad models are equipped with AMD Ryzen PRO 6000 series CPUs and come pre-installed with Windows 11. The new Lenovo ThinkPad Z13 has a 13.3-inch OLED display, while the ThinkPad Z16 has a 16-inch OLED display. Both models have Dolby Vision, reduced blue-light emission compatibility, and a Dolby Atmos speaker system with Dolby Voice. Lenovo has also added a new 'double-tap feature' to the TrackPoint that activates the Communication QuickMenu, which provides rapid access to camera and microphone settings.
Lenovo ThinkPad Z13 Specifications
A 13.5-inch IPS OLED 2.8K (2,880 x 1,620pixels) display with 400 nits of peak brightness, a 91.6 percent screen-to-body ratio, and a 16:10 aspect ratio is included on the Lenovo ThinkPad Z13. It also has minimal blue light emission support. The ThinkPad Z13 comes with Windows 11 preinstalled, Dolby Vision compatibility, and a Dolby Atmos audio system.

The Lenovo ThinkPad Z16 has a 16-inch IPS OLED 4K (3,840x2,160 pixels) display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, a 92.3 percent screen-to-body ratio, and a peak brightness of 400 nits, as previously announced. The ThinkPad Z16 has Dolby Vision compatibility and minimal blue light, just as the ThinkPad Z13. The AMD Ryzen Pro CPU is integrated with AMD Radeon graphics or optional AMD Radeon discrete graphics in the Lenovo ThinkPad Z16. It supports up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 2TB of PCIe SSD storage.
A Microsoft Pluton security processor is also included in this laptop. The Lenovo ThinkPad Z16 is equipped with a Dolby Atmos sound system and Dolby Voice AI noise cancellation. A match-on-chip fingerprint reader is also incorporated into the keyboard. Lenovo has included a 70Wh battery in the new gadget. The Lenovo ThinkPad Z16 weighs 1.97kg and dimensions 354.4x237.4x 15.8mm. Recycled metal and vegan leather are rumored to be used in the upcoming ThinkPad Z series laptop models. The gadgets' packaging is also said to be composed of bamboo and sugarcane, which are both recyclable and biodegradable.
Lenovo ThinkPad Z13, ThinkPad Z16 price and availability
The ThinkPad Z13 will cost $1,549 when it goes on sale. The ThinkPad Z16 will be available for $2,099 when it goes on sale. From May, both models will be available for purchase. It's claimed to come in two colors: Arctic Grey and Bronze.
