The Trusted Partner Network (TPN) is a new worldwide, industry-wide project to preserve film and television material. The TPN initiative aims to enhance security knowledge, preparation, and skills across our sector by assisting enterprises in preventing leaks, breaches, and hacks of their clients' movies and television series before to their planned release. The TPN creates a common baseline security readiness standard for all vendors and their teams, regardless of where they operate or what they specialize in.

TPN certification is a cyberbsecurity audit that compares your ISMS implementation (i.e. management system, physical security, and digital security) to the MPA Content Security Best Practices. To perform any work for Disney, Sony, NBC, Paramount, Warner Bros., Netflix, Apple+, HBO, Amazon Prime, and other big studios, you must have this accreditation. Content companies will have access to a centralized database to learn about their TPN status thanks to the creation of a single, worldwide directory of "trusted partner" providers.

The TPN initiative aims to improve our industry's security awareness, readiness, and capabilities. The Motion Picture Association (MPA) is the world's most powerful advocate for the film, television, and streaming industries. The cinema, television, and streaming industries fuel the creative economy in the United States and across the world. The Motion Picture Association's Chairman and CEO is Charles H. Rivkin (MPA). He is in charge of the MPA's global goal to promote and assist the motion picture, television, and streaming entertainment industries.

Disney, Netflix, Paramount, Sony, Universal, and Warner Bros. are among the MPA's current members. The Motion Picture Association was founded in 1922 by motion picture companies to protect and encourage the fledgling cinema industry. Since then, the MPA has acted as the world's foremost champion for the cinema, television, and streaming industries, developing the business and art of storytelling, preserving storytellers' creative and aesthetic liberties, and providing entertainment and inspiration to audiences throughout the world.

William Hays formed and directed the Motion Picture Producers and Distributors of America (MPPDA) in 1922. To assure the absence of "offensive content" and prevent government meddling in filmmaking, a regulation framework known as the Hays Code is devised. In 1945, the organization was renamed the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA). Along with the civil rights, women's rights, and labor movements, the film industry fought for artistic freedom and the repeal of the Hays Code's harsh content restrictions in 1968. As a result, then-MPAA president Jack Valenti devises the current film rating system.

The MPAA creates the Film Security Office to collaborate with law enforcement officials in order to combat the rising problem of film piracy, which was expected to cost the industry more than $100 million per year in 1975. Faced with growing threats from online content theft, the MPAA strengthens its worldwide content protection team and successfully pushes for the Pro-IP Act, the first anti-piracy measure approved in the United States in the twenty-first century, in 2008.

Under Chairman and CEO Chris Dodd's leadership, the MPAA worked closely with the US government in 2012 to reach an agreement with China to resolve a long-running WTO dispute, opening up China's film market and dramatically increasing revenue sharing, which helped fuel a significant increase in global box office revenue. In 2017, the MPAA joined dozens of other entertainment firms to form the Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment (ACE), a global alliance focused to defending the legal market and combating internet piracy.

Netflix joins Disney, Paramount, Sony Pictures, Universal, and Warner Bros. as the newest members of the MPAA in 2019, under Chairman and CEO Charles Rivkin. Netflix's inclusion highlighted the association's growing attention on streaming services as the sector adapted to current viewers' watching habits. Chairman and CEO Charles Rivkin combines the Motion Picture Association's global activities under a single name: the Motion Picture Association (MPA).

The MPA is defending the rising variety of filmmakers, protecting intellectual property rights, developing technical innovation, and supporting trade policies that can further extend the global cinema and television sector in 2021 under Chairman and CEO Charles Rivkin.

The MPA works to promote public policies that support creators, protect content and promote a strong creative economy on a global level. Their activities include:

1. Motion Pictures Association- CanadaMOTION PICTURE ASSOCIATION

2. Motion Pictures Association- Asia Pacific

3. Motion Pictures Association- Latin America

4. Motion Pictures Association- EMEA

The Motion Picture Association (MPA), a pioneer in third-party entertainment industry evaluations, owns and manages the Trusted Partner Network (TPN). The TPN assist firms in ensuring content security, preventing leaks, breaches, and hacks of movies and TV episodes before they are launched by providing a single, unified global database of "trusted partner" providers.

TPN is used to determine whether a service provider is following industry best practices. This is done in particular through an auditing procedure in which a professional evaluator assures client material security by conducting a full examination of the service provider's pertinent facilities, staff, and work methods. Alibaba Cloud is the world's first public cloud service provider to be TPN certified.
