Kathmandu. Fusemachines, a leading provider of Artificial Intelligence software, solutions, and services, together with Artificial Intelligence for Development (AID) has announced the launch of the FIRST and BIGGEST AI Expo in Nepal- AI Expo Nepal 2019, happening on August 24th, 2019 at Soaltee Crowne Plaza, Kathmandu.

The AI Expo Nepal 2019 with the motto ‘Education Exhibition Exposure’ plans to showcase the AI expertise and potential in Nepal to various public & private stakeholders. It aims to educate students, enthusiasts, and professionals about the real-world implications of Artificial Intelligence and provide mentorship and guidance from experts.

The program will include a keynote from Fusemachines CEO Dr. Sameer Maskey and remarks by AID’s Head of Research Mr. KshitizRimal. There will be two plenary discussions on the topics “AI for National Development: Plans and Policies” and “Integrating AI: Demand, Challenges & Solutions”. Experts from academia and industry will provide insights into these areas. Engaging learning sessions by experts on Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, and Natural Language Processing will provide knowledge and share use cases about these subjects. Idea presentations and demonstrations by finalist teams will be an exciting addition to the program.
