Redmi Note 11 4G Global Variant Reportedly Certified by BIS, NTBC Ahead of Official Launch

Thailand's National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission are believed to have certified the Redmi Note 11 4G global model (NBTC). The smartphone has also been listed individually in the Camera FV-5 app store. This hints to the Redmi phone's camera specs ahead of its formal introduction. Unlike the original Redmi Note 11 4G, which launched in China last month with a MediaTek processor, the Redmi Note 11 4G worldwide model is rumored to come with a Snapdragon SoC.

According to MySmartPrice, the BIS website shows the Redmi Note 11 4G global variant with the model number 2201117TI, while the NBTC website shows the phone with the model number 2201117TG. Xiaomi may be aiming to launch the Redmi Note 11 4G at some point in the near future, based on the alleged listing on the BIS website.

The Redmi Note 11 4G with the model number 2201117TG has emerged on the Camera FV-5 site with the BIS and NBTC certifications. This means that the upcoming Redmi phone will include a 50-megapixel primary camera sensor, an f/2.0 lens, and support for electronic image stabilization (EIS). A 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter, and a 2-megapixel macro photographer were also included in the Chinese version of the Redmi Note 11 4G.

Xiaomi has yet to reveal any official information on the Redmi Note 11 4G's worldwide model. The smartphone, however, was apparently discovered earlier this week on the websites of Singapore's Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and the Eurasian Economic Commission. The Snapdragon 680 SoC is expected to be used in the worldwide model, with a starting price of $199. The original Redmi Note 11 4G, on the other hand, was released in China with a MediaTek Helio G88 SoC and was priced at CNY 999.
