Western Digital has just released the Elements SE external solid-state drive (SSD). The new portable SSD is small enough to fit in your pocket. The Western Digital Elements SE has a write speed of up to 400MBps and a storage capacity of up to 2TB.

The Elements SE SSD is said to be three times quicker than a hard disk drive of comparable capacity (HDD). The new SSD works with both Mac and Windows PCs. USB 3.0 connection is included with the Western Digital Elements SE SSD.

The Western Digital Elements SE SSD, which was just released, has write rates of up to 400MBps. This is supposed to be three times faster than an HDD of equal capacity. The portable SSD has a small form and is drop resistant up to 2 meters, according to Western Digital. It has USB 3.0 connectivity and runs on Windows 10 as well as macOS Big Sur, Catalina, and Mojave.

The dimensions of the Western Digital Elements SE SSD are 64.5x64.5x8.72mm. It also has a plug-and-play functionality that, according to the manufacturer, allows the portable SSD to connect to any computer without the need to install any additional software. Users will receive a USB 3.0 cable in the package.

The Western Digital Elements SE external SSD comes in three storage capacities, with prices starting at Rs. 12000 (tentative) for the 480GB model, Rs. 16000 for the 1TB model, and Rs. 32500 for the 2TB model in Nepal.

The external SSD is only available in one color: black. Western Digital's Elements SE portable SSD comes with a 3-year limited guarantee.
